Childrens handwriting plummets

Education Teachers have an obligation to make surveys of the results they are getting with their students in British schools. One of the things teachers come across time and time again is the hand writing of pupils in the class. Its not easy reading Uk students. Handwriting can be hard to read, the art of reading hand writing is called Graphology. Its often left neglected as more and more people type on computer and hand-held telephones. Handwriting is becoming so messy and emoticons as a way of communicating is becoming much more popular. Education chief says many UK students are sleepwalking into university

Natasha Moriety reports from the UK. The head of the British University and College Admissions Service (UCAS) has said university is ‘wasted’ on the young. Mary Curnock Cook said youngsters fresh out of school "sleepwalk" to university and often fail to select the right course or consider if it’s the right step for them. VoR's Natasha Moriarty reports.
